I'm so glad you stopped by!
Thank you for visiting my blog. Please stop by my Teachers Pay Teachers store to check out the products I have to offer.
My agriculture background goes back to growing up on a dairy farm in Indiana. I was very involved in Agriculture Education, FFA, and 4-H as a kid. After graduating from Purdue, I worked in the Agriculture industry for a few years before going back to school to earn my teaching degree. I have taught for 6 years in Science and Agriculture Education. My husband, daughters, and I have a small (but time-consuming!) beef operation.
My inspiration to begin blogging and creating products for Teachers Pay Teachers came from the frustration of finding teacher resources when I was in the classroom. If your school district (or you, as the teacher) cannot justify purchasing the really nice agriculture education curriculums that are out there, you're left fending for yourself. As a result of facing limited resources, I created many of my own resources to utilize in my classroom. And, as we know, Ag Ed teachers do so much more than teach in the classroom (all those evenings, weekends, and summers spent taking care of FFA and SAE business) and creating curriculum is the last thing an Ag Ed teacher has time for. I now want to share those resources with other Agriculture and Science Educators to try to make their lives just a little bit easier!
Please connect with me for more ideas and resources that can benefit you and your classroom.
